Stained glass panels can be made to be fitted into window openings or to hang up or stand against the light in a window. It is also possible to fit leaded panes in between double glazing, both timber and uPVC. I work with Sheffield Glass on such encapsulation projects https://www.sheffieldglass.co.uk/
I design and manufacture leaded windows and doors to match or complement existing features and also take on new ideas for designs from my customers. Examples of my commissioned leaded lights, windows, doors, fanlights and Copper Foil (Tiffany style) panels can be found around Yorkshire and Derbyshire, as well as Stoke on Trent, Aberdeen, Birmingham, London, Guildford, Bristol, Wells, Leeds, Brighton and The Netherlands. Some of my little stained glass robins have made it to Canada and New Zealand!
Glass panels of all sizes (and shapes) can be commissioned as unique birthday, anniversary and wedding presents etc.
If you are looking for a truly unique wedding giftt, why not commission a leaded or copper foil glass panel depicting something or somewhere that is especially relevant to the couple?
I have enjoyed designing and making bespoke stained glass pieces for over 20 years, such as the bee panel and the Twr Mawr lighthouse shown here.
